Scully Oil Offers Team for Relay For Life

Thru the very generous donation of time and money team members from Mauston Interstate BP and the Camp Douglas BP walked together to raise over $270, a portion of which their customers donated at their stores, all in the spirit of curing this terrible disease.  According to Co-chair Kathy Marose this event raised $111,034 for the American Cancer Society, there were 32 teams on the track and over 600 Luminaries around the field.  Scully Oil would like to thank everyone involved with raising money and donating time to this very worthy cause.

On Sunday July 10, 2011 members of the Camp Douglas BP walked the parade route and enjoyed the crowds of the New Lisbon area in one of the hottest days yet this summer, with temperature well in to the 90’s.  There was a great turn out for the parade even though we had rain just an hour before the start at 1:00 PM.  There was over 60 entries in the line up from bands to mini-tankers.  Fun was had by all.  Thanks for the walk City of New Lisbon!

Arbor Day at Scully Oil

The nation celebrates Arbor Day on April 29 once again, some at Scully Oil braved the fierce weather a little early this spring and planted 100 White Oaks and 50 Sugar Maples, all of which were purchased from the Wisconsin State Nursery.    On Saturday April 16, 2011 Kevin Scully, Pat Walsh, Jay Turner and Jeff Scully dug holes, pruned roots and packed dirt (no need to water, when the snow melts there will be plenty), statistically 90% of these young trees will grow and contribute to the eco system.  A big ” Thank You ” to everyone one that volunteered for this project!
