According to the “Helios 100″ website January 19, 2011 Scully Oil Company ranked 9th of 251 similar sized BP Jobbers (suppliers) in the United States. “This is an tribute that goes to the effort of everyone in the organization, from the Team Member behind the counter helping the customer to the Professional Driver that delivers the fuel to the store to the office personal that keep us all organized” says Jeff Scully, president of Scully Oil.   ”This is also a huge reflection of the dealers that we have the privilege of serving in this market, without their commitment to portraying the BP Brand in a positive light we wouldn’t get to enjoy this level of success in this program” says Scully. BP has over 16,000 independently owned and operated retail stores in the United States. 

Toys for Joy 2010


Scully Oil team members contributed their time to help make Christmas special for lots of children in our area this year.  Monday, December 6, 2010 about a half dozen team members from Mauston Interstate BP, Lyndon Station BP and the main office, joined others in the community to help organize presents for those that need a little extra help from Santa this year at the local armory in Mauston.  Toys for Joy raised $10,775.00 this year, they were able to provide toys and gifts to 170 families along with a frozen turkey.  “This was a great opportunity for us to give back to our community and its a great time of year to spread some holiday cheer, it was really a lot of fun” said Mary Ellen Saniter, who works in the office for Scully Oil.



Mauston Interstate BP Wins



Mauston Interstate BP Wins the Mauston Chamber of Commerce 2010 Mauston Pumpkin Bash “Business Decorating Contest”, along with a beautiful 1st place ribbon the store received a glass etched mirror to hang in the retail space.  Congratulations to Cindy and the Mauston Interstate BP for the great example of team sprit and store pride.  Keep up the great work!

 

Stepping up for Hunger – 5K Run/Walk New Lisbon, WI

On September 18, 2010, the Camp Douglas BP Team enjoyed the third annual “Stepping up for Hunger” 5k Walk / Run to help raise money and awareness for the hungry in our area.  The walkers / runners were bussed to  to Camp Douglas then they return on the Elroy bike trail back to Hustler, WI.  All the proceeds are split between the five Juneau County Food Pantries,  Wonewoc, Necedah, New Lisbon, Mauston and Elroy.  This year the organizers have raised over $8500.00, which is 2000.00 more than last year. For more information on this event call Gina Klean at Lynn & Gina’s Fitness Center in New Lisbon at 608.562.5981.

Wo-Zha-Wa Days Parade 2010


The Scully Oil Company participated in the 2010 Wo-Zha-Wa Days Parade in the Wisconsin Dells on Sunday September 19.  Parade watchers enjoyed lots of candy from the Lyndon Station BP team members that lasted about 3 hours with about 80 different entries.
